Do you want to join an archery club in the Merseyside area or just want to try archery?
High Elm Archers beginners courses are run over three consecutive weekend afternoons (weather permitting, during the outdoor season), each session lasting 4 hours. To complete the course, candidates must attend all three training sessions.
The courses are run by our qualified archery coaches, Graham and Mike, with the assistance of experienced club archers.
During the course, candidates will be instructed in:
- range layout and safety
- how to assemble a recurve takedown bow
- barebow recurve archery
- free style recurve archery using a sight
- introduction to tournaments and rounds
Courses cost £60 per person
At the end of the course you will receive a certificate that allows you to apply for membership of any Archery GB-affiliated club in the UK.
Start date of courses:
Saturday 26th June – FULL
Subsequent course dates TBA
If you can’t attend a beginners course or just want to try archery, why not book a place on one of our taster sessions? This allows you to shoot for a full hour under the guidance of an experienced archer.
See the box below for the date of the next pre-bookable session.
We hope to resume taster sessions in the near future – watch this space.
Cost: £6 per person
